TITLE
All goods remain the property of Stancombe Stone, until paid for in full.Under no circumstances are any goods sold on a sale or return basis.
COLOUR
All of our stoneware is a natural product. Therefore, slight variations in shading will occur. Stancombe Stone cannot exchange or replace any item due to this occurrence.
DELIVERY CHARGES
England & Wales – Minimum order value - £250.00 (excluding VAT). Delivery – free.
Orders under £250.00 will be subject to a £35.00 charge.
Scotland – Minimum order value - £350.00 (excluding VAT). Delivery – free.
Orders under £350.00 will be subject to a £35.00 charge.
Stancombe Stone reserves the right to make up any order to the minimum order value.
DELIVERY ACCEPTANCE
Please check delivery thoroughly upon receipt.
Any damages/shortages are to be notified to our office by phone/fax/email within 5 days quoting our despatch note number otherwise we reserve the right not to accept any claim for damages.
Signing the despatch note ‘unchecked’ is not acceptable as proof of damage.
Stancombe Stone reserves the right to exchange any defective items. Credit notes will only be issued at the discretion of the Managing Director.
DELIVERY TIMES
Delivery dates quoted are estimated only, dependent upon seasonal workload. Every effort will be made to adhere to them wherever possible.
TRANSPORT
All of our deliveries are made by a Courier. Any special delivery requirements must be notified to us at placement of the order. Stancombe Stone reserves the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 50% of the order value for any refused delivery. Please make sure that you have suitable equipment and manpower available.
CANCELLATION OF ORDER
Written notification only acceptable. Stancombe Stone reserves the right to charge a minimum handling fee of 50% of the order value for any refused delivery or once despatched.
COLLECTIONS
We require a minimum of 24 hours notice.
PROMOTIONS
Goods offered as free of charge will only be so if payment terms agreed at order placement are adhered to.
Any free of charge items offered will be at the discretion of Stancombe Stone.
PAYMENT
Due by the last day of the month following the date of invoice unless subject to a specific seasonal promotion. A credit charge will be applied if payment is not received by the due date.
UNSALEABLE GOODS
Stancombe Stone reserves the right to remove these items from display at customers’ premises.
FOUNTAINS
For safety we recommend that these must be cemented together using a ratio of 6 parts sand to 1 part cement (this will allow for the fountain to be dismantled should the need arise).
